The Role

Neo is seeking a Manager, Accounting & Finance to expand the current team structure and support the growth of the businesses and external partnerships. Reporting to the VP, Accounting & Finance, this role will manage the day-to-day aspects of the accounting and finance functions. The Manager, Accounting & Finance will work with internal teams including operations, partner services, compliance, and technology, along with external sales agencies, carriers, and vendors, as needed. The manager must possess outstanding communications and presentation skills, and be comfortable executing on established protocols, be part of change management, and systems.


What you'll do:

  • Accounting
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for three operating subsidiaries according to monthly close schedule.
  • Maintain and reconcile subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist with analyzing financial statements and report on variances.
  • Prepare year-end audit schedules and assist in yearly audit preparation.
  • Maintain financial controls, processes, and procedures to ensure company maintains compliance with accounting policies.
  • Document policies & procedures and internal control processes.
  • Own the commission collection and remittance process, including reconciliation of statements and details for our new Medicare line of business.
  • Assist with implanting, executing and documenting process flows around accounting and reporting, cash management, controls, and compliance for a newly formed Third Party Administrator company.
  • Analyze current account policies, compare to US GAAP and document any impacts for possible adoption.
  • Other ad-hoc projects as assigned.


  • Finance
  • Assist with preparation of financial reforecasts and budgets.
  • Creation of multi-year and long term strategic plans.
  • Assist in developing and measuring KPIs that support the strategic goals of the company.
  • Maintain daily cash balances, identify future cash needs and projections to meet the company's investor and lender obligations.
  • Analyze results, formulate the story, and assist in preparation of presentations to executives and investors.
  • Analyze capital needs to grow the busines, compare to available capital and make recommendations based on retuns on investment.
  • Review commission calculations, advanced assets, and recaptures for accuracy.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field of study
  • General ledger experience of at least seven (7) years
