There is an excellent opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper at Robert Half. Your responsibilities will include the preparation of financial statements; the establishment and preservation of the accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives of the business; and all other general accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Responsibilities

- Preserving historical records through accurate filing of documents

- Following federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, implementing adherence to requirements, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions

- Overseeing accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers

- Tracking fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules

- Producing the trial balance and financial statements, including, but not limited to, balance sheet and statements of income and of cash flows

- Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including collections

- Ensuring correct and punctual monthly, quarterly and year end close

- Handling bank and general ledger reconciliations, as well as payroll processing

Requirements

- Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

- Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports

- Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

- Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment
