QC Lab Analyst

Job description

• Plan, execute and reports testing results using in-house analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, FTIR, AA, UV).
• Provides accurate evaluation and interpretation of data in compliance with all FDA, EPA, OSHA and company regulations and policies.
• Assist hands on with routine analysis of samples submitted to the laboratory for testing as part of customer product requirements.
• Helps maintains the QC lab instrumentation in a qualified state.
• Conducts and communicates results of lab investigations when test results fall outside pre-established specifications (i.e. Out of Specification results).
• Performs routine equipment maintenance.
• Performs instrument calibrations and supervises third party maintenance and repair when necessary.
• Provides laboratory/quality control disposition of raw material and finished product.
• Supports in the development of methods transfer and validation, troubleshooting, cross validation, IQ/OQ protocols.
• Supports activities regarding audits of suppliers and contract labs in support of vendor certification program.
• Assures laboratory databases are maintained and accurate.
• Ensures control of laboratory documentation (Raw Material COA, testing instructions, testing results, finished product COA).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Related Field: 3 years (Required)
• cGMPs: 2 years (Preferred)
