Southern Transport Full Job Description Remote Driver Recruiter Fill Out This Link: George Text or Call JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for recruiting company drivers and independent contractors ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Responsible for screening, recruiting, telephone interviewing, qualifying and selecting applicants for driver positions • Review driver candidate applications for job fit and compliance and conduct telephone interviews to evaluate skills for potential placement • Ensure positive candidate experience through customer service, timely communication; respond effectively to candidate's needs • Escalate issues as needed • Apply problem solving techniques, tact and discretion when handling calls • Coordinate pre-employment background check and DOT drug screens, arrange for travel to orientation facility • Manage administration and preparation to hire and on-board driver candidates • Maintain strict confidentiality related to candidate data • Recommend process improvements to achieve superior Driver candidate experience and satisfaction • Performs other related duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & KEY COMPETENCIES: • High school degree or equivalency • Minimum one (1) year of previous driver recruiting experience • General knowledge of Tenstreet software • Must be self-motivated and sales/goal-oriented • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (e.g., phone) • General knowledge of Windows-based software, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies • Ability to manage confidential information appropriately • Must have good judgment, decision-making ability, and attention to detail • Independently contribute to team performance goals without compromising quality or service PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times Job Type: Full-time Schedule: • 12-hour shift Supplemental Pay: • Commission pay.
