Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
Silver Hill Funding is adding Sales Associates to strengthen our sales and workflow efforts! The Sales Associate team helps drive a consistent flow of quality loan submissions into the Operations team. Sales Associates roles and responsibilities are key elements of our goal to become a higher-quality, more efficient commercial mortgage origination division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Associates support Silver Hill Funding's Regional Managers by performing the following functions.
- Support Regional Manager's efforts (loan structuring, follow up with brokers/borrowers for required loan documentation, etc…)
- Receive, Package and QC/Audit loan requests for all needed documentation
- Issue LOIs and Receive signed up LOIs and QC/Audit files for submission into processing
- Send and receive broker registration packages (work on approval communications with internal staff and broker relationships)
- Manage 21 Day Reports (Outstanding LOIs) per region
- Follow up with mortgage brokers and bankers in support of Regional Manager efforts

- Mortgage and Mortgage Banking Expertise (a plus) - knowing mortgage offering and home lending guidelines; being familiar with the diversity of products/services and the advantages of each; understanding the local market and the needs and priorities of the clients; keeping current with the mortgage industry and business/economic trends; knowing how to use automated programs/software to support the sales and marketing processes.
- Prioritizing - identifying priorities and using time effectively to support the sales and marketing efforts to drive business to the SHF sales teams.
- Composure - remaining positive, focused, and even tempered in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
- Collaboration - sharing information and expertise with partners and team members; working together to achieve work goals; being candid and honest with coworkers and lead/referral sources; understanding the roles, priorities, and goals of other stakeholders in the mortgage process (including internal partners, customers, and referral sources).

- College degree or 4 years equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate is preferred

- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
