Job Description

As a Search Strategist, you'll be part of a team that is passionate about digital advertising. You'll provide strategic, sales and administrative support at a variety of levels, and become a complete digital marketing expert. This includes all activities associated with ensuring the success of the fulfillment of digital campaigns - namely and initially, search engine marketing.


What you'll be doing:

  • Build, monitor, optimize, maintain & report search engine marketing campaigns using bid management technology platforms
  • Monitor campaign performance & interpret reporting on all aspects of client digital campaigns to help strategize and optimize for synergy among channels
  • Brainstorm with sales staff to develop the most robust and appropriate campaign strategies
  • Work directly with clients to gather essential information, and to resolve routine questions and issues as they arise
  • Work closely with sales professionals to provide key areas of opportunity for new and existing clients in the search space
  • Be accountable for goals and confirmation kick off calls with new clients' paid search campaigns
  • Assist sales teams with in-person client meetings and real-time campaign optimization
  • Assist active clients with Google Analytics platform linking and goals set up
  • Achieve Google Analytics and Google AdWords Certifications
  • Review and monitor the accuracy of order entries and scheduling, being proactive in resolving problems and issues before they cause billing errors
  • Maintain professional working relationships with all clients and coworkers


Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or Public Relations, or a combination of education with related experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service role required; 2 years' experience in an administrative support role is preferred
  • Working knowledge or paid search campaigns (both set up and optimization)
  • Exceptional communication skills, including verbal and written required
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-up
  • Knowledge of advertising products, including print display ads, digital impression ads, Flash animated ads, video and email.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics & search engine optimization
  • Experience with salesforce.com highly desirable
  • Ability to accurately handle multiple simultaneous activities on tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally at all times with external and internal customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability & desire to quickly learn and use new technology, including salesforce.com and search engine marketing programs
