Job description
Terminal Link is a port operator used to develop, design, build and operate the terminal. It originated with a development strategy of providing terminals with a high quality service for every shipping company, optimising the financial value and profitability of each terminal and maintain a diverse customer portfolio.

MISSION:
Within our business unit Terminals Link, you will be in charge of the regular performance of a Terminal Link portfolio of terminals in compliance with Business Plan targets and manage specific BU projects at shareholder level (such as asset procurements / extensions etc.). You will also manage a portfolio of Terminal Link development projects (M&A or Greenfield), providing support or leading projects for Business Development. Besides Terminal Link business, you may also provide support to CMA Terminals for any project or for the monitoring of existing terminals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
BU performance management
- Develop relationship with the BU, its management, co-shareholders, Port and local CMA agent.
- Anticipate (initiate when necessary) and prepare Shareholders and Board Meetings, to defend interest of Terminal Link, in coordination with the appointed BU BOD member.
- Analyse and report financial/operational KPIs monthly, in coordination with Finance Department.
- Propose and trigger necessary actions and remedy plan in due time in case of financial or operational deviations compared to previous year or budget to propose opex and capex optimization (ex: internal audit, expertise missions, extraordinary BOD or SH resolutions) all in coordination with relevant TL Departments or CMA supports.
- Challenge and ensure issuance in due time of Budget and BP by the relevant terminal in coordination with finance department.
- Implement review of BU financial structure and propose optimisation jointly with Finance Department, in respect to tax, loan or dividend.
- Implement contractual review and actions jointly with Legal Department. Ensure that obligations or rights of each stakeholder are fulfilled in line with the interest of TL.
- Implement commercial review and actions jointly with Commercial Manager. Interact and keep close contact with CMA CGM services calling the terminal.
- Ensure project management and provide financial analysis when required, in respect to any relating BU projects such as procurements / extensions.
- Ensure proper, traceable and regular archives management into TL server for all documentation relating to each BU.
Business Development support
Lead project for business development from origination to signing and as the case may be:
- analyze project market, initial studies
- project structuring,
- define and budget required due diligences,
- review assumptions and elaborate financial model, and valuation
- due diligence and negotiations
- pilot expert team efforts (technical, legal, financial, insurance, etc.), coordinate Port Authority/Partners requests, lead negotiations.
- and external relationships with sellers, partners, advisors, and the internal relationships with other departments within the Group.
- In addition to development projects, you may work on financial restructuring projects or disposals.
PROFILE AND SKILLS:
- Postgraduate degree (+5 years) in Business or Engineering + significant financial skills
- special interest in the transport and infrastructure sector
- Significant experience in consulting, financial advisory, audit or ports development;
- Familiar with the project mode
- Autonomy and sense of initiative; Interpersonal and communication skills;
- Responsiveness and work ethics; Team spirit & Result-oriented;
- Fluency in English and in another major international language would be a plus; willing to travel.
