Consultant Opportunity - Remote

Responsible for underwriting all credit requests including new requests, renewals and modifications as the credit expert. Accountable for recommending credit structures with respect to quality, profitability within assigned geographies. Fundamental duties include ensuring that the risk philosophy and lending strategies are adhered to while maintaining a high level of client responsiveness. Conducts in-depth financial analyses in assessing businesses and/or individuals' creditworthiness and degree of risk involved in extending credit. Makes discretionary recommendations and suggestions on these analyses.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in the lending industry with expertise in credit
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and banking operations and regulations
• Takes the initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent related experience
