INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:


The Visual Merchandising Intern is responsible for supporting the regions architect & marketing team in ensuring all stores meet the brand image guidelines, guaranteeing a consistent and highly qualitative execution of all point of sale merchandising that respects the strategy, the directives, and vision of the brand.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Creation of store merchandising masterfile:

  • Lead the development of our regions first ever point of sale database.
  • Compile all configuration details for our top 20 doors in the region (axes present, furniture configuration, soft merchandising elements, number of lightboxes etc.).

Visual merchandising updates:

  • Planograms: Create quarterly planograms for top doors. (use of displayer IWD)
  • Visual guidelines: Support the commercial team with adhoc visual transparency updates.

Soft merchandising updates:

  • Work hand in hand with Marketing Analyst in production of soft merchandising elements on a quarterly basis:
  • Create the brief for all quarterly soft merch updates across our top 20 doors.
  • Quote and produce elements.
  • Coordinate the shipping and installation details with commercial team.
  • Postproduction:
  • Coordinate with installers & field team to ensure that roll outs were properly installed.
  • Obtain pictures of installations in coordination with field team.

Trade marketing implementation:

  • Work hand in hand with Marketing Analyst in creation of yearly regional trade plan.
  • Production of trade animations with local suppliers:
  • Create the brief for HPP packages one month and a half prior to the start of each animation
  • Quote and produce elements.
  • Coordinate shipping and installation details with commercial team.
  • Obtain pictures of installations in coordination with supplier & field teams.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven ability to understand and interpret visual directives.
  • A Detail oriented & creative problem solver.
  • Very strong Organization & Communication skills.
  • An Innovative thinker with an eagerness to learn.
  • Strong team player, comfortable working with different departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office package (Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus.
  • Knowledge of IWD (Displayer).
  • English and Spanish required.
