Our Client, in the Palm Beach Gardens, FL area is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position is open due to growth and is a fantastic opportunity to work with a publicly traded entity. Multi-entity experience is strongly preferred. This position will work directly with the Controller and will be responsible for: vendor invoicing, general ledger reconciliations, prepare and analyze financial reports, maintain fixed assets, and prepare monthly sales and use tax returns.

Requirements - Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

- Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

- 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

- Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

- Adeptness in sales and use tax

- Solid understanding of Process Vendor Invoices

- Annual External Audit experience

- Monthly Sales Tax experience highly desired

- Strong familiarity with account reconciliation

- Fixed Asset Accounting experience

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail

- Exceptional time management skills preferred

- Current and relevant ERP system experience

- Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

- Be detailed, flexible, and organized

- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
