Job description

The Miami Job Corps Center operated by Adams & Associates Inc., is hiring a highly organized Property Officer to be responsible for the receipt, distribution and management of all Center property. The ideal candidate will have experience with Federal Government property and inventory requirements, warehousing and inventory control.

Responsibilities include:

  • Received all goods arriving on center, ensure quality and integrity of all related paperwork.

  • Conduct physical inventory of Center Property and reconcile actual inventory against records

  • Maintain and updated required property, equipment and expendable computer inventory systems

  • Supervises and conducts redistributioin or disposal of surplus property as required

  • Supervisor the Property Clerk and assigned student workers


You qualifiy if you:

  • Have Associate Arts Degree from an accredited college required.

  • Have experience with Federal Government property and inventory requirements, warehousing and inventory control preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.

  • Are Computer literacy in word processing and Microsoft Suite of applications.

  • Can meet the Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrate the ability to lift 50 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.

    MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION:

    May supervises the Property Clerk and Job Corps' Work-Based Learning and Leisure Time Student Employees assigned to the department.
