As an Asset Manager on our Infrastructure and Real Assets?team, you will be responsible for the oversight of property management, construction, leasing, and marketing in the pursuit of business plan objectives for assigned assets. In addition, you will contribute to asset dispositions, acquisitions, and development activities as required. You will be responsible for implementing asset strategy in coordination with fund management while exercising a high degree of analytical skill, initiative, and sound business judgment.
Your responsibilities will require you to:
* Develop and implement goals and objectives for assigned assets in alignment with fund objectives and the local market.
* Prepares individual property business plans incorporating asset level goals and approves the operating budgets on an annual basis.
* Maintains involvement in the review and recommendation process of assets to maximize the highest return to the owner.
* Establishes and maintains relationships with clients, tenants, the brokerage community, appraisers, attorneys, and industry peers on an as needed basis.
* Negotiates property level agreements, such as leases, amendments, listing agreements, property management agreements within approved guidelines, authority level and/or corporate policies.
* Prepares and presents both oral and written operating reports.
* Assists, as required, in the disposition and acquisition of properties.

The business manages +US$25 billion of assets, across two distinct investment strategies - core / core plus; and opportunistic. As an Asset Manager on the Macquarie Infrastructure & Real Assets team, you will be in a supervisory role that includes working with service providers to ensure the team provides first class property management. You will also supervise, develop, and maintain a motivated and skilled professional building management and leasing team.
To be considered for this role you will have:
* Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, real estate, or related discipline.
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in commercial real estate asset management, with a focus on office.
* Advanced skill and thorough understanding of real estate operations, including property/project management, leasing and marketing.
* Previous experience in negotiating lease contracts with tenants.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business and technical journals, financial reports, market studies, annual operating budgets, appraisals, hold/sell analyses, and legal contracts.
* General knowledge of accounting practices including GAAP & IFRS for real estate reporting and related audit practices.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Prior experience with oversight of construction, capital projects, negotiating loan financing arrangements with lenders and required lender reporting is preferred but not required for your consideration as an Asset Manager. Strong working knowledge of Argus Enterprise is preferred.
You will have excellent business and social communication skills, both oral and written. You will be able to use your professional communication skills to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. In addition to your communication skills, you will possess strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize conflicting demands. You must be highly organized, detail oriented and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
