Job description

The GBS Billing Engine Analyst is responsible for
supporting existing processes and systems which support the GBS billing process.

They will assist in ensuring the consistent operations of the GBS Billing Engine and improve the sustainability of processes through research, analysis and verification of data in the tool.
They will identify areas of improvement, track, and maintain the status of actions.
This role involves engaging and collaborating with multiple service lines within GBS and capability to work independently to accomplish tasks.

Tasks/ Key responsibilities:
•Performs testing and analysis of data and systems utilized for financial reporting.
•Operates and optimizes pre-defined tools, applications and data bases/data management systems.
•Ensures the effectiveness of the data management system, tests prototypes in real environment, and validates the results.
•Researches, analyzes, consolidates and interprets operations and financial data for use by Accounting and Controlling using statistical and data analytics methods, processes and technologies to create information on finance-relevant value flows and process optimization potential.
•Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources, operates and optimizes pre-defined tools, finance applications, other key financial instruments and/or data management systems.
•Provides suitable reporting and communicates results to various stakeholders (e.g. Accounting and Controlling departments, management, SME).
•Checks content and analyzes data related to customer contracts, budgeting, billing and issue resolution.
•Changing priorities or differing situations maybe encountered on regular occasions. Thinking then is focused on analyzing, evaluating, prioritizing and solving operational issues and incidents or on optimizing tools used in process.
•Develop, encourage and maintain an open and professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

REQUIRED Knowledge/ Skills, Education and Experience:
•Bachelor Degree required in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field. (preference to Business Data Analytics)
•1-2 years of experience in data analytics and data modeling (from degree program is acceptable)
•Demonstrated advanced Excel experience.
•Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, complex data environment and be able to identify and understand data coming from a large number of sources which is consolidated and processed centrally.
•Must be self-driven and capable of working independently to accomplish tasks.
