POSITION / TITLE: Business Development Representative
As a Business Development Representative for the company, you will be responsible for prospecting new business, qualifying them, and partnering with an external Account Executive to develop that lead into a true sales opportunity. This is a role that requires someone with the acumen and aptitude to identify new opportunities in the marketplace that are aligned with business use cases at Kore.ai and use strategic thinking and relational skills to attract interest in Kore.ai's product offerings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and qualify new sales leads and opportunities.
- Effectively map new prospect organizations to identify the targeted buyers, decision-makers, and key influencers within prospects' organizations.
- Utilize CRM (HubSpot) system to effectively track and report prospecting activity on your pipeline.
- Analyze new prospect's business needs through research and information gathering calls.
- Conduct outbound prospecting to create leads through emails, calls, and social media.
- Work closely and collaboratively with an Account Executive team partner to generate qualified opportunities and drive revenue.
- Build pipeline by learning to effectively identify qualified leads, communicate the Kore.ai value proposition, and route opportunities properly to the direct sales team.
- Work Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
· Exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· 0-2 years of experience.
MUST HAVE SKILLS
● Excellent communication skills - outgoing, personable, and energetic.
● Ability to build a rapport with prospects over the phone, via email, or via Video.
● Must be a competitive, ambitious and self-motivated individual with a hunger to succeed.
● Ability to achieve monthly productivity goals.
OTHER SKILLS WE'D APPRECIATE
● Sales or Customer Service experience a plus.
● Receptive to feedback and coachable.
● Resilient and possess the grit and determination to power through objections.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
● Bachelors in a business-related field, such as business, management, or marketing.
