Job description

KeyStaff is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to work with the Fiscal and Operational Support Division in Orange County, Orlando FL. The ideal candidate should be able to:

Essential duties of this job:

  • Performs secretarial as well as administrative duties for senior level management. Proficiently uses word processing software packages.
  • Handles telephone calls, correspondence, meeting schedules and appointments and coordination of travel as well as a variety of other administrative duties.
  • Handles special projects, gathering information, compiling data and seeing projects to completion.
  • Responsible for office policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from high school or equivalent.
Ability to type forty (40) correct words per minute.
Three (3) years experience in a professional office atmosphere with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
Proficient in interpersonal and communications skills including both analytical and management abilities.
Proper dress and demeanor for a high profile, responsible position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of and experience with advanced software including, but not limited to, Microsoft, Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
Knowledge of and experience with various types of office equipment including, but not limited to, fax machines, telephones, calculators and photocopy machines.
