Our location in Orlando, FL currently has an opportunity for a Logistics Finance Manager. The Logistics Finance Manager is a key member of the finance team that is the liaison between procurement, operations, logistics, supply chain, accounting, and finance. The ideal candidate must understand complex dynamics of sales demand, production trends, supply expectations, transportation, inventory, and labor productivity. The successful candidate will have previous transportation and logistics experience, and capable of handling a highly visible role in a complex, large organization to ultimately drive operations in order to maximize profitability. The candidate will possess strong influencing skills, work autonomously, and make decisions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and coordinate the forecasting and annual budgeting processes for our supply chain and logistics costs, including consolidation of all submissions from distribution centers and 3PL's
- Partner with business unit supply chain and logistics teams to provide pertinent data and insights to establish operational and financial goal alignment
- Work with supply chain and logistics teams to analyze and forecast inventory and understand the impact on working capital and cash flow
- Implement the established common metrics and ensure definitions are being used consistently across the operations and finance organizations
- Lead or contribute in various project planning, management, financial modeling and analysis
- Recommend improvements and provide scoping documents for system enhancements to simplify reporting.
- Assist in the preparation, follow-up and analysis of operational scorecards and KPI's for the regions
- Analyze and investigate freight costs to ensure tight controls and deliver results to supply chain leadership.
- Engage with HQ on COGs priorities to assist in delivering meaningful analysis to assist with bottom line results
- Institute benchmarking and gap analysis
- Prepare Supply Chain financial reporting including preparation of monthly management and analysis reports, ensuring they are completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
- Analysis of Supply Chain costs to align with Business Unit structure.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain operations team to ensure costs are in line with expectations
- Partner with freight and warehouse vendors in ensuring their costs are in line with budgets as well as input on cost reduction programs
- Develop new and streamline existing processes and systems as required to ensure more efficient delivery of value add information to both internal and external stakeholders
- Creation of new reports and analyzing of Supply Chain costs to align with Business Unit structure.
- Analyze and investigate freight costs to ensure tight controls and deliver results to supply chain leadership.

- Work with Freight and Warehouse vendors in ensuring their costs are in line with budgets and working on cost reduction programmers.
- Provision of input on local finance policies and procedures ensuring ongoing compliance with all accounting and finance standards.
- Collaboration with external audit staff for periodic year and quarter end review procedures and local audits as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related required; or equivalent combination of work/experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in supply chain, program management, planning, manufacturing, financial or related fields.
- Experience presenting and analyzing large quantities of data with strong spreadsheet and database query experience (e.g. SQL, Python, VB) a plus
- Advanced experience in Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Word, Powerpoint
Preferred
- Experience with process flowchart tools such as MS Visio a plus
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, well-organized, and highly accountable
- Exceptional analytical insight, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Experience presenting to executive level audiences
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with limited guidance
- Self-motivated, action-oriented individual with the perseverance to push high value projects through to completion
- Developed time management and priority setting skills required to work in an often ambiguous and constantly changing business environment
