Primary Care medical practice in Downtown Orlando is looking to hire a full-time medical receptionist with excellent organizational and administrative skills. Medical receptionists are expected to be compassionate and discrete with superb time management and record keeping skills.

To be successful as a medical receptionist you should be confident and professional administrators, with fantastic communication, computer and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to patient emergencies.

Job Duties include:

• Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
• Professionally assist providers, staff, visitors and patients.
• Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
• Schedule and confirm appointments between providers, diagnostic testing and patients utilizing multiple software systems.
• Perform insurance eligibility prior to appointments.
• Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism
• Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities.
• Complete accurate documentation of patient visits.
• Answering and routing phone calls.
• Handles correspondence and faxes.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• 2+ years medical experience in primary care.
• Excellent Experience with computers, EMR software, insurance eligibility software and medical terminology.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting.

BILINGUAL SPANISH/ENGLISH and COVID fully vaccination required
