We are looking for a motivated professional with not-for-profit experience to lead the the accounting team of an exceptional organization located in Orlando, Florida. The Manager of Finance Operations is responsible for the design and implementation of financial strategic plans, overseeing accounting and reporting functions, and planning operational budgets.

responsibilities:

• Directs the overall accounting practices of all accounting functions and reporting of financial information.
• Under the leadership of the Director directs and implements the overall strategic financial plan.
• Oversees accounting, budgeting and audit functions of the Center through accounting staff.
• Directs the financial and accounting system controls and practices to ensure timely financial and statistical reports to Program Managers, Director, public and private funders, Orlando Health Finance Directors and others.
• Ensures the accuracy of all financial data and directs all reporting of all Center financial information.
• Assumes primary responsibility for planning the Center's annual operating budget.
• Analyzes and interprets financial data and proactively recommends changes to improve systems and financial performance of the Center.
• Establishes, communicates, and implements financial policies and procedures involving philanthropic and grant accounting and financial reporting, both internal and external.
• Supervises and coordinates internal audits of grant and philanthropic financial activities and related reporting functions.
• Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with company policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business required. Management/supervisory experience is required. Must have experience with not-for-profits and A-133 audits.
