In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Human Resources Benefits and Leave Specialist.


Location: Palmetto, FL

As part of this role, you will help oversee Benefits and Leave of Absences:


BENEFITS:

  • Will process and track all leaves of absence per Company policy and state and federal law
  • The Benefits & Leave Specialist interacts with employees and supervisors on Benefits and Leave issues and ensures employees are entered correctly for benefit programs.
  • Responsible for setup and training of all new hires in Kronos
  • Participates with the coordination, communication and execution of Open Enrollment.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE:

  • Works with outside vendor to ensure COBRA notices are sent out to terminated employees in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper management of all administrative aspects of leave claims to include: tracking hours used/taken; return to work data; file reviews and working closely with the Managers, HR and Payroll to ensure that key dates, details and status for associates is accurate and correct
  • Assists with employee questions regarding health benefits as they relate to disability leave, leave without pay, and FMLA.

What you need to bring to this role:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least (5) years of job-related experience OR a combination of education and experience required.
  • Expert knowledge and fluency of governmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Expert level in benefit administration strongly preferred.
  • Expert level in leave administration strongly preferred.
  • Extreme attention to detail and e xcellent time management and organizational skills required.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in Kronos a major plus.
  • A positive can-do attitude.
