What we're looking for

Vacasa is looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to be the advocate and liaison to our broker and agents, providing them with the support and internal resources they need to close real estate transactions. Experience in a real estate office setting and with commission payments preferred, but not required for this position.

What you'll do

Main Duties And Responsibilities: (All Assigned States)

* Create Commission Disbursement Request with override and commission calculations, based on a Compliance Checklist provided by Transaction Processing Lead
* Enter overrides and commissions in Back Office software to transactions already created by Transaction Processing Lead
* Maintain CDR spreadsheets, making updates to price, commission and close dates as needed
* Pay agent commissions, using both paper checks and ACH
* Maintain offices, bank accounts, agent fee structures and reports in Back Office software. Trouble-shoot as needed
* Other duties, as assigned

Other duties and responsibilities: (Florida State Specifically)

* Reconcile FL Broker's Concur expense account, uploading receipts and submitting for approval
* Submit vendor invoices for payment
* Post agent A/Rs at the beginning of every month
* Send agent statements out after posting all receivables
* Post agent payments to agent accounts as received
* Prepare/make deposits for agent receivables daily as received/needed. Scan to Accounting daily
* Maintain spreadsheets for various rents payable
* Prepare invoices monthly for various entities and submit to A/P
* Prepare and scan monthly forms while simultaneously submitting invoices to A/P

Skills you'll need

* 1+ years of higher education or experience relevant to basic bookkeeping or accounting
* Ability to communicate professionally through email, phone calls, video calls, and texts
* Attention to detail and thoroughness
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
* Highly responsive and reliable
* Proficiency with Excel and GSuite
* Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, face-paced environment

Working Conditions

* Ability to work from home or in local office depending on location
