Solutions Engineer

MotionPoint is currently looking for highly motivated, detail oriented self-driven Solutions Engineers to help our sales organization deliver end-to-end solutions for our client's globalization efforts. Solutions Engineers work directly with Sales to provide technical expertise, solutions and guidance where needed in the presales process and post-sale implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Account Executives to provide company/customer/competitor research
• Provide verbal/written technical communication for presales efforts
• Provide verbal/written and technical expertise as follow up to sales calls
• Contribute new feature requests and be a conduit for customer feedback
• Work closely with Account Executives to provide verbal/written communication of sales strategy for opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
• Superior written and spoken communication skills in English. Knowledge of a second language is desirable but not required
• A plus if candidate has knowledge of the following: Database technologies, CMS technologies, Translation Memory Technologies, Web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• SaaS sales experience a plus
• Candidates should be willing to travel to offsite client visits or sales meetings (when applicable)
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to: multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with various teams and departments, build relationships with customers and co-workers, work independently and as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service.
