Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager of General Manufacturing 1 - Front Line Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in our St Augustine Center of Excellence in St Augustine Florida. Candidates must be willing to work any of the following schedules: Monday - Thursday - 1st shift (6:00 am - 4:30 pm) OR 2nd shift (4:30 pm - 03:00 am).
The General Manufacturing Manager - Front Line Manager has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for leading the manufacturing activities of a given cost center including Safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives and factory accountability along with other duties.
Essential Functions:
Providing direction and coaching to technicians and other production personnel in the assembly and manufacturing areas.
Ensures team members receive the required training and prepares the daily work plans in support of overall program objectives.
Encourages and provides direction for career development of employees, including educational options for highly motivated employees.
Provides leadership/direction to ensure all affordability initiatives and opportunities for process improvements are systematically identified, pursued, and supported.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School Diploma /equivalent with 5 years' experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing, maintenance and/or related environment. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.
2 years' experience in a leadership, supervisory and/or management role.
Must be willing to work any of the following schedules: Monday - Thursday - 1st shift (6:00 am - 4:30 pm) OR 2nd shift (4:30 pm - 03:00 am)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of aircraft coatings is a plus.
Experience on the E2D/C platform.
Experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
Salary Range: 76100 - 114100
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
