Description
Electronic Data, Inc. (EDI) is hiring a Business Analyst in St. Petersburg, FL!
The Business Analyst would be responsible for consistently delivering EDI's Strategic Asset Management (eSAM) solution to customers on time, under budget, and in excess of customer service standards by the standard implementation playbook.
Essential Functions:
- Perform and document organizational assessments in the context of potentially implementing eSAM and maintenance best practices.
- Execute eSAM workshops by delivering prescribed content, facilitating discussion, and capturing required outputs.
- Create new materials in support of educating customers and employees on eSAM and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) concepts, capabilities, features and processes.
- Identify value-added enhancements to eSAM and author user stories and requirements for them.
- Perform demonstrations of eSAM solution (both generic and customer specific,) as required, throughout life cycle of implementation.
- Participate (remotely or in person) in all project meetings.
- Resolve questions related to Product Backlog Item definition and acquire clarification and detail on any unclear or new Product Backlog Items (User Stories).
- Provide coaching and assistance to customers in relation to adoption and execution of eSAM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs.)
- Participate as implementation team member by helping to define and establish project schedules and priorities as well as helping to address project risks and issues.
- Review and understand the Scope of Work for all assigned projects.
- Escalate perceived project issues to Account Executive.
- Provide updates to project task status, labor effort expended, and remaining effort.
- Provide troubleshooting guidance or invoke escalation to other teams/resources for unresolved issues, when appropriate.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert consultation on EDI Solutions-related projects, when required
Secondary Functions:
- Provide input, education, and assistance to other members of Operations as it relates to Maximo eSAM concepts, capabilities, features and processes.
- Identify project risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Author and perform system verification testing, if necessary.
- Author and deliver end user training, if necessary.
- Facilitate or support Users Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform bubble support, if necessary.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Qualifications
Education/Experience Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or combination of education and training.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in engineering, facilities management, manufacturing or related field.
- Strong understanding of EAM systems and their use supporting operations and maintenance. Preferred experience with IBM's Maximo EAM system.
- Valid state driver's license (any in US) required.
- In possession of appropriate paperwork to gain and maintain employment in the US.
Needed Skills:
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Systems and the application of EAM systems within the Life Sciences and/or Manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices.
- Familiarity with reliability centered maintenance concepts and their application within the maintenance field.
- Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
