Job description

We are looking for a results-driven and confident financial controller to manage and improve our organization's financial performance and direct our accounting and finance operations. Duties for the financial controller will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, preparing reports for related financial institutions, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.

Your strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency as a financial controller will aid our organization in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, a flair for numbers, be highly organized, and have excellent leadership skills. The noteworthy financial controller should streamline our accounting functions and operations, provide financial analysis and reports, train staff on business finance issues, establish and monitor controls, and drive income generation and optimization.

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and improve our month, quarter, and year-end close and financial reporting processes
• Lead accounting, audit, tax, compliance, and payroll functions
• Evaluate and continually improve accounting procedures, processes, and systems to ensure an outstanding internal control environment
• Preparing financial reports
• Analyzing financial data
• Overseeing and preparing income statements
• Participating in budgeting processes
• Managing financial transactions
• Streamlining accounting functions and operations
• Developing plans for financial growth
• Evaluating and managing risk
• Coordinating audit processes
• Provide general corporate support services for our organization

Financial Controller Requirements:

• CPA required
• Bachelor's - Accounting / Finance/ Business
• Experience: 7+ years
• Proficiency with NetSuite (past implementation experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Proven experience in finance management
• Experience with financial reporting and month end close responsibilities
• Good communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
• Auditing experience
• Compliance oriented
• Analytical skills
