Job Description
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Monitors and/or processes payments and payment files in conjunction with treasury procedures and policies.
* Performs research on payment transactions and communicates results to treasury management and internal customers.
* Communicates with banking partners on routine transaction research and/or issue resolution.
* Utilizes internal systems or bank-provided platforms to access transactional information and to make necessary updates.
* Prepares daily operational reports.
* Assists with daily cash positioning and cash forecasting.
* May assist with account reconciliations and financial reporting.
* May assist with other treasury activities such as cash positioning, payment processing, and management reporting.
* Other related duties assigned as needed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Knowledge of treasury and payment industry principles, practices and policies
* Basic knowledge of cash management activities and financial analysis along with the ability to understand and apply concepts
* Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and applications specific to the treasury function
* Works well in an environment with firm deadlines; results-oriented
* Ability to multi-task and adjust schedules to meet deadlines
* Ability to work in an organized manner with attention to detail
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
* Team skills including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and public
* Data entry skills
FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Entry level role. Applies basic skills and may begin developing advanced skills using tools and equipment appropriate for job or specialization. Duties and tasks are standardized. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks. Typically requires less than one year experience in an office setting and/or experience in treasury or a related financial discipline.
