Statement of Purpose: This position works with the Chief Pharmacy Officer and 340B Program Manager to ensure compliance with the 340B program as well as to maximize the benefits of the program.


Primary Tasks: Pharmacy Compliance Analyst 1, 340B

1. Oversees the daily operations/auditing of the 340B program.

2. Ensures compliance, adheres to legal requirements and maintains data integrity of the 340B program to achieve maximum savings opportunities.

3. Responsible for following 340B policies and procedures established by the organization and the guidelines established by HRSA.

4. Serves as a liaison with the participating pharmacies/vendors.

5. Collaborating with the 340B (Pharmacy) Compliance Analyst team to monitor active/inactive account(s) for 340B monthly audits.

6. Supporting program projects to ensure operational efficiency targets via data analysis.

7. Maintaining and monitoring strong relationship(s) between covered entity leadership and assigned 340B vendor(s).

8. Organizing and reporting monthly findings of internal 340B audits to maintain successful client relations with Third Party Administrator(s).

9. Developing short and long term goals that meet established objectives and contribute to the overall goals of the 340B team/program.

10. Develops, executes, and documents internal-audits of the 340B process. Coordinates, reviews and ensures remediation of findings in collaboration with the 340B Program Manager and 340B vendor(s)/pharmacy partner(s).

11. Maintains system databases to reflect changes in the formulary or product specifications.

12. Ensures compliance with the 340B program requirements of qualified patients, drugs, providers, vendors, payers, and locations.

13. Monitors ordering processes, integrating most current pricing form wholesaler and analyzes invoices to claims as a part of the monthly audit process.

14. Supports all ad-hoc/external audit requests and HRSA 340B Audits.

15. Promotes and practices CAN Community Health, Inc.'s mission, values and follows policies.

. Requirements:

Skills and Abilities: Pharmacy Compliance Analyst 1 , 340B

1. Strong knowledge of healthcare environment and 340B Drug Discount Program.

2. Knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, distribution and price/cost analysis.

3. Experience working with Electronic Health/Medical Record (EMR/EHR systems) preferred.

4. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

5. Prior experience with split billing/340B compliance software and tools preferred.

6. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel (required).

7. Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

8. Demonstrated problem solving, analysis, and resolution at strategic and functional levels.

9. Proven customer service orientation with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

10. Functional understanding of online technology.

11. Ability to travel for job-related activities as necessary.

12. Good oral/written communication skills.

13. Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.

14. Ability to utilize decision-making techniques.

15. Ability to function autonomously and as a team member in a multidisciplinary team.

16. Effectively use reports, and other analytical tools to help target efforts for maximum program results.

17. Ability to work with minimal supervision.


Education/Professional: Pharmacy Compliance Analyst 1 340B

1. 0-2 years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare-related area with transferable skills.

2. Bachelor's degree and/or business equivalent experience

3. Valid Driver's License
