Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic graphic designer to join our marketing team. We are a marketing company located near the Sarasota/Bradenton airport. We handle all types of marketing services for construction companies and building product manufacturers throughout the USA. We are extremely busy and are looking to hire a part time or full time person to help us in the development of all types of marketing materials from brochures to websites and social media administration. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in graphic design as well as visual design for websites.

Our office is located in Sarasota, FL and this is an in office position.

Required Skills:

• Full and deep understanding of design, branding and their role in marketing.
• Must be able to independently create original and impressive design looks for our clients and implement them across the full spectrum of marketing materials. This position will do the bulk of the visual designs for our website projects but we have a full team of developers, it is NOT necessary you have experience as a developer but its important to have worked with web developers implementing your design.
• Adobe Suite software including: Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator and InDesign

• Experience in all aspects of digital marketing and print design.
• Excellent time management skills

• Attention to detail and willingness to proof finished work.

• Ability to work with a team in cooperative, friendly and professional manner.
• Deep and nuanced understanding of brand identity. Some logo design is part of this project but we usually farm it out. You must be able to critique logos and guide other designers to a successful design.
• A proven understanding of submission of materials to digital and traditional printers for full color printing with occasional use of pantone colors.
• Ability to find humor in the silly things clients say and do despite the fact they know nothing of graphic design nor of marketing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
