Location: Remote/Tallahassee, FL

Role Summary:

The Business Process Specialist assists with key client projects. Process management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope. The successful candidate will work directly with the Business Process Managers to prepare reports for management regarding status of project, and ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget for each project. Candidates should be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected, and the successful candidate will be able to pivot between familiar duties and accomplishing new and different requests. This role encourages applicants with backgrounds in project management, IT or manufacturing process engineering, strategic design, business analysis, or technical implementations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Business Process Managers for the flawless execution of operational and strategic projects.
  • Ensure that all tasks with a project are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate risks to management as needed.
  • Assist with risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Help create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)

WORK SCHEDULE:
  • 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
