Client: Department of Management Services, Florida Digital Service ("FL[DS]" or "Division"), 2555 Shumard Oak Blvd, Tallahassee, Florida 32399

Due Date: December 6 th , 2019 by Noon EST

Duration: The contract period for this scope of work is anticipated to take place between July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020, each position would require approximately 40 - 50 hours a week. All work shall be performed at the Agency for State Technology offices in Tallahassee, during normal business hours.

Work Location

1. The work location will be at 2555 Shumard Oak Blvd, Tallahassee, Florida, and for disaster recovery purposes, in other offices located throughout the southeast.
2. The position will work within the Bureau of Core Systems, Backup and Recovery, Florida [Digital Service]
3. Telecommuting may be allowed with written approval by the Department.

Work Schedule

1. Weekly billable hours not to exceed forty (40) hours, unless prior written approval is provided by the Department.
2. A five (5) day regular work schedule will be mutually agreed to in writing, unless prior written approval is provided by the Department. Work hours are: Monday through Friday, Normal Business Hours, but may include after hours, nights, and weekends.

RESUME CONTENT AND FORMAT

1. Resume - Resume of the person(s) proposed to fulfill the requirements of this RFQ, for each position where a contractor's employee is proposed.
2. Resume Acknowledgement Form - Contract Exhibit G, Resume Acknowledgement Form.
3. References - Three (3) business references for each contractor's employee proposed, with contact information including telephone number and email address.

DELIVERABLES

The Department's Cherwell ticketing system will be used to track work activities and the Cherwell Contractor Time Reporting system will be used for time tracking. Work record and time submission shall be done by the fifth (5th) day of each month detailing the previous calendar's month's activity.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The Department's preferred Consultant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include:

Years' Experience

Last time the skill was used, and in what context / for what project

1. Ability to analyze and manipulate data, communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

2. Ability to work in a collaborative manner as a part of an organization team focused on exemplary customer service and quality service delivery, work independently, and work under pressure and with multiple deadlines.

3. Ability to write administrative scripts to automate tasks.

4. Attention to detail and consistency.

5. Experience with backup tools and technologies.

6. Extensive experience with Commvault Backup software up to at least version 11.

7. Extensive experience administering Volume Managers, file systems, and Backup and Recovery software.

8. Fundamental knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches, and networking technologies.

9. Fundamental knowledge of system security best practices, data center operations, and enterprise-level multi-tenant systems.

10. Fundamental knowledge of networking principles and protocols (OSI layers, TCPIP, subnetting, IPV4, IPV6).

11. Knowledge of prevalent management tools and utilities applicable to the platform and services provided by the section, virtualization technologies, and security principles and best practices.

12. Working knowledge of Windows and Open Systems operating systems and their access methods for storage and backup.
