Accounting Assistant

Job description

**Position Purpose:**

Apply all cash receipts into various systems and databases. Assist all major functions of the company including Accounts Payable and Billing.

+ Apply all payments received using the appropriate systems

+ Enter manual billing information

+ Update Accounts Payable check requests logs

+ Analyze various reports including aging activity, accounts receivable credits, days sales outstanding and cash to revenue

+ Assist with semi-monthly billing

**Education/Experience:**

High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of accounts receivable or payable, accounting, or finance experience. 1+ years in medical cash posting or line item posting.
