Accounts Receivable Specialist

NSC is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in Tampa, Florida. This position is a great opportunity for candidates who have experience with Billing and or Cash Applications. Accounts Receivable Specialist:

Responsibilities:

· Daily check deposits

· Identify, deposit, post, and apply incoming ACH and check payments, including following up with customers on any short pays or other payment discrepancies

· Monitor and report daily cash activity using online banking services

· Assist in resolving unapplied cash

· Provide recommendations and implement ideas improving cash and banking processes supporting the business

· Assist with weekly invoice generation and special accounts, holding responsibilities for full cycle invoicing for various customers and/or business verticals

· Read and analyze customer contracts to ensure invoicing follows specific contract requirements, in addition to ensuring company policy is followed

· Assist in setting up customer accounts

· Prepare reports and information as requested

· Assist finance team members in a variety of other finance functions

Requirements:

· High School Diploma required/Bachelor's degree preferred.

· QuickBooks Accounting and Billing software experience preferred.

· Experience in Billing and Invoicing process desired.

· Experience in cash and banking applications is a plus.

· Must be proficient in MS Office.
