Job description

Role Purpose:

Candidate will provide regional support as part of the NAM Capital Markets team that supports Capital Markets related efforts across the Private Bank.

Background:

Citi is working to consolidate technology across Consumer and Private Bank. The position is for a strong business analyst within Citi Private Bank NAM Capital Markets Technology Team. This role will primarily be responsible for identifying/speaking with stakeholders; understanding and documenting existing process and data flows supporting Capital Markets Products (Fixed Income, Equities & Structured Products) within Consumer.

Subsequently, the individual will be required to do a map/gap analysis between documented flows in Consumer and target systems in Private Bank and make a recommendation on action plans for consolidating systems across both divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Scope includes:

• Discovery: Engage stakeholders & identify system; process & data flows supporting Cap Markets Products in NAM
• Verify, Document and Publish Systems, Process and Data flows identified above
• Draft, socialize and publish recommendations for integrating relevant functionality across surviving systems
• Develop action / project plans based on recommendations approved by stakeholders
• Support the action plans going forward
• Key Stakeholder management with various internal customers, partners, and internal and external suppliers
• Working with users, business analysts, and developers to understand user and system requirements
• Delivering material/presentations to Senior Management, internal and external clients
• Ensure compliance with Citi policies, and procedures and guidelines

Mandatory Investment Products knowledge Required (most of the below):

Good Working Knowledge of the below products / process:

Fixed Income Bonds (Corp, Gov, Munis, EM)

Structured products (primarily Structured Notes)

OTC Equity Derivatives

Equities, Options

Order Management System Process

Nice to have - FX, Working Knowledge of Settlement & Clearing

Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience:

• 10+ years of Total experience as Business Analyst
• Relevant Business Analyst certifications is a plus
• Financial Service experience is a must
• Experience in Investment Products - see list above
• Exposure to various SDLC methodologies
• Strong user engagement skills
• Strong System Process and data flow mapping skills
• Product Desk exposure is a plus
• Tools - MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
