Job description
The Business Development Coordinator will report to the Vice President of Business Development and will work with the team leading the business develpment efforts to support our Skanska Florida Business Plan. This individual will be tasked with managing client research, mantaining our SalesForce database, coordinating sponsorships, memberships and events, and working with the Business Development team to learn the other BD activities necessary to reach and establish relationships with high-level clients and community stakeholders. The Business Development Coordinator must be a flexible and adaptable team player, as well as have strong communication skills. He/She will collaborate and work closely with the BD team and Senior management. The ideal candidate for this position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.
What You'll Do:
- Gain industry and Skanska knowledge
- Research potential clients and project opportunities
- Actively engage with internal Skanska team members on a routine basis
- Gain understanding and use of the Skanska Business Development process
- Participate in pursuit strategy development
- Coordinate sponsorships, memberships, and events
- Enter and maintain accurate and timely data in SalesForce (a Business Development system, candidate will receive training)
