Job description

Healthcare holding company based in Tampa, FL seeks proactive and motivated Controller for a rapidly growing private organization. The Controller will build and maintain the organizational financial rigor and structure to effectively manage the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting, FP&A, enterprise risk, financial reporting, capital planning and procurement functions
• Responsible for financial General Ledger system implementation and GAAP accounting procedures (monthly, quarterly, annual close and annual audit)
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting process
• Perform financial impact analysis and procurement for new contracts and support negotiations
• Collaborates with leadership to establish overall strategic direction and priorities for medical and administrative expense management
• Develop and oversee the ROI driven capital investment management process
• Identify and implement new financial reporting packages
• Provide business leader support reporting out on financial results, key drivers and potential actions to take
• Oversee external banking relationships and covenant reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in a financial leadership role
• CPA licensure required
• Public traded company finance and SEC reporting experience preferred
• Experience in the healthcare field and a sound understanding of healthcare financials
• Medicare and Medicaid experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience sourcing, evaluating, selecting, implementing and managing finance, accounting, ERP, and portfolio management software systems
