Job description

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of marketing communications and digital content that support the objectives of the organization. This includes web content, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), and social media platforms. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing cost-effective digital marketing programs and communications that drive sales and support the customer journey.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute plans to achieve business development targets
  • Propose and help implement marketing programs and vertical-specific campaigns
  • Monitor, identify and develop strategies to effectively compete within the market
  • Work with team members in the ongoing development and optimization of website content for new functionality and page creation
  • Provide monthly analytic reports with recommendations to drive and optimize traffic, behavior, campaign response, keyword analysis, SEO and SEM
  • Develop and manage efficient procedures and workflows for the digital content life cycle, including creation, approval, revision and removal
  • Assist with social media platform management for B2B and B2C brand growth
  • Manage PPC advertising campaigns within approved budget
  • Assist with ad placement across industry publications and/or trade shows
  • Review new technologies to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
  • Stay current with marketplaces and trends
  • All other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience defining and adjusting digital marketing plans and/or strategies based on analytics
  • Creative problem solver, passionate about winning and achieving results
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong eye for quality, attention to detail and organized
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency with different social media platforms with proven track record building brands
  • Strong understanding of online marketing concepts, trends, strategies, and best practices
  • Wide degree of creativity, understanding of graphic design, copywriting and editing concepts and skills
  • Ability to work well and be flexible within the marketing team and other departments
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals
  • Experience in email communication and social media management platforms
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Microsoft Office and WordPress

Qualifications

  • BS or BA in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of experience in a similar digital marketing role
  • Real estate or legal services industry experience a plus
  • Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency a plus
