Job description

As the General Manager of Land, you will manage a team of Land department employees, maintain developer relationships, review contracts to ensure compliance, and actively negotiate large land deals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and direct a team of Land Managers and Supervisors capable of meeting NVR's unit sales and profit objectives for the geographic area of responsibility
• Cultivate new developer relationships and maintain existing relationships
• Review contracts from direct reports with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance
• Actively negotiate and structure large and complex deals in the core market area

Qualifications

• At least 5-7 years of demonstrated land acquisition experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Effective team manager
• Skilled in land deal structuring
