Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lateral Recruiting Assistant in Tampa, FL. Key Tasks:
  • Lateral Recruiting Assistant will assist with day-to-day activities, including but not limited to sourcing candidates via online advertising, referrals, networking, databases, etc., serving as an initial review for candidate applications
  • Contact and schedule interviews for prospective candidates and retain thorough records of all communications
  • Maintain the candidate and job tracking database by updating candidate status, preparing offer letters, initiating, and managing the post-offer and onboarding process
  • Assist with tracking regular data on recruitment activity
  • Build and maintain internal relationships with the various client groups, particularly hiring managers
  • Maintain agency relationships, including providing prompt feedback and monitoring submissions and communications
  • As a Lateral Recruiting Assistant, you will facilitate communication channels between hiring managers, vendors and the Recruitment team
  • Provide regular market information from both internal and external sources
Process and Procedure:
  • Ensure ATS is accurate and up to date at all times
  • Assist with producing and developing regular and meaningful management information reporting
  • Implement simple, effective, and trackable record keeping and administration processes
  • Lateral Recruiting Assistants participate in meetings related to the activities of the Recruiting department or related projects
  • Contribute to team effort through communication, cooperation, and coordination with other team members
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing related professional publications
  • Maintain the practice of continuous improvement and education by reviewing industry publications and keeping current on new skills
  • Demonstrate professional judgment and confidentiality
  • Maintain professional and comfortable interaction with all levels of attorneys and staff


Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 or more years of recruiting experience as well as a strong academic record
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to understand and navigate a professional services partnership
  • Solid communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to develop internal and external relationships, liaise with diverse stakeholders and to build networks quickly
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and project plan on an ongoing basis, with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills, forward thinking with the ability to foresee the impact of emerging trends/patterns
  • Strong business acumen and administrative skills
