The DTCC Senior BSA models business processes, derives requirements and produces detailed business rule definitions to create system functional component descriptions. The Senior BSA will participate in projects from the Business Requirements review phase, working with Functional Architects and product management, to analyze the requirements in detail. This involves reviewing business requirements and documenting functional specifications details for the application development team. This position provides guidance to team members by elaborating the necessary details for projects. The Senior BSA analyzes business processes in great detail, participating in application design, supporting development teams and testing. The Senior BSA must possess good communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate business processes into functional specifications. This position requires working closely with the technical and governance functions, reviewing and interpreting technical designs and specifications, assisting with estimating costs and producing schedules.

Your Primary Responsibilities :
  • Business Process Management and Modeling
    • Analyzes business processes and derives functional requirements
    • Designs functional processes by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams
  • Data Modeling
    • Defines business entities
    • Creates conceptual, logical and physical data model structures
    • Describes data attributes
    • Understands data relationships and dependency rules
  • Graphical User Interface Design and Usability
  • Integration of Business functions and services
    • Assists in the development of Test scripts
    • Ensures functional accuracy through peer review process
    • Participates in aspects of SIT execution an defect reviews; supports user acceptance and industry testing
  • Process automation
    • Recommends controls by identifying gaps and designing solutions to automate manual processes
  • Performs the Project Management role as defined in AD's SDLC for team-driven initiatives
  • Awareness of Security and Privacy Risks
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in IT; 3+ years of experience in software development and/or testing
  • Bachelor degree in a business-oriented, technical discipline or related experience preferred
