Job Overview:

The Manager of Talent Acquisition - Recruitment Operations is responsible for leading talent operations activities for Macy's, Inc. These activities include candidate support and engagement, sourcing, and interview scheduling. This Manager will have a heavy focus on daily colleague management through driving engagement, answering questions, and coaching their team. They will ensure consistent implementation of talent operations to drive hiring results at Macy's, Inc., while looking for strategic ways to improve. Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is based in Tampa, FL

Essential Functions:

Manage Recruitment Operations team of coordinators and specialists that drive recruitment activities of candidate support and engagement, sourcing, and interview scheduling.
Direct a team that will provide administrative expertise and support on hiring related matters across the enterprise.
Coach, develop and cross-train colleagues to foster an environment of achievement and engagement. Consistently review performance to identify gaps and ensure each team member is contributing at an appropriate level.
Serve as a subject matter expert in volume recruitment processes and initiatives.
Understand metrics and analyze detailed reporting to develop action plans to resolve issues and drive results and productivity.
Partner with Training Coordinator to ensure all colleagues are trained and proficient in all relevant aeras of the hiring process; recognize training deficiencies and work with training coordinator to retrain/address issues.
Practices open and continuous communication; values keeping others well informed; presents written and verbal ideas or feedback in easily understood ways; and conducts team meetings several times a week.
Regularly meet one-on-one with colleagues to discuss productivity and development and quickly address performance issues in partnership with Colleague Advisory team
Assist in the development of all hourly colleagues and works to stimulate growth of highly performing team members.
Recognizes and celebrates individual and team performance with positive reinforcement. Enlists colleagues to offer suggestions for process/culture improvement and champions their cause
Assists with daily, monthly and year end tasks, including basic productivity reports and inventory of equipment.
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree preferred
3-5 years related experience
Current and/or previous experience managing a team of colleagues
Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
Detail oriented

Physical Requirements:

Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing
Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talking
Continuous use of computers and other office equipment
Frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs.
