Job description

Work Experience:

· 1+ years' experience working at a title company and/or mortgage company (that has worked in a post-closing type role), is preferred.

· Prior work experience with loan documentation is preferred

· Entry level would be considered for an individual with the right attitude, work ethic

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Sort, scan, and return closing packages to Lenders according to their instructions

· Ship and maintain internal records of the closing proceeds along with any supporting documentation to the appropriate parties in an accurate and timely manner

· Scan and update tracking information for outgoing checks, ledgers, and supporting documentation into the internal database for accurate record-keeping

· Communicate with Closers to ensure efficient and complete post-closing of file

· Compile and scan physical original documents that will be recorded

· Mail out recorded documents to the Buyer(s) and Lender via mail

· Log, distribute and scan incoming mail when necessary

· Monitor and respond to emails in the post-Closing email box in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Minimum 1-year experience in title, real estate, foreclosure, or related field preferred

· Knowledge of real estate and/or closing documents such as Notes, Deeds, Mortgages, Closing Disclosures/HUD Settlement Statements, etc. preferred

· Prior experience using shipping services including FedEx preferred

· Knowledge of clerical procedures to include operation of copier and scanner preferred

· Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented required

· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a high volume and fast-paced environment required

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

· Experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook required

· Experience working in SoftPro a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
