The National Driver Recruiter handles full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing and on-boarding qualified Driver applicants as per QC Driver On-boarding guidelines.

Essential Functions:

  • Communicate with applicant as well as screen, pre-qualify and order preliminary report on drivers to ensure that only qualified candidates are considered for on-boarding. Assist applicant through the recruiting process until transition to the Driver Processor to complete the file.

  • Maintain and review Driver Recruiting Goal tracker to keep current the capacity needs of each assigned terminal. Lead the development and strategic execution of the driver capacity recruiting plan for each assigned terminals.

  • Lead Generation - data mine leads via various communication tools, email, cold calling, social media and text messaging.

  • Communicate with Terminal Manager to provide updates and setup Driver candidate interviews.

  • Communicate with the Driver Recruiting Processor.

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

  • Responsible for supporting department advertising budget by assuring all advertisement has a positive return on investment.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required


Requirements:

  • 2 Years inside sales,recruiting or equivalent required.

  • Transportation experience and previous driver recruiting experience highlypreferred.


Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • MS Office skills

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities
