Under the general direction of the Director of Operations, the Senior Manager of Program Operations is responsible for leading the reimbursement and patient support services related to the program. The Senior Manager of Program Operations is responsible for the oversight of all team members providing the full range of services for specific programs. The position will participate in projects and perform functions as may be required from time to time.
Job Responsibilities:Lead the existing team for operations related to Amgens patient support programs
Ensures team is meeting contractual obligations and program SLAs
Responsible for the management of the client program supervisors
Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions
Manage supervisors who lead support program teams
Make recommendations in the development of long-term strategies
Present strategic and operational plans for the development of new capabilities
Collaboration with vendor teams and supporting established contracts, and hosting internal and external client presentations
Involved with the creation of policies, standard operating procedures and work instructions for Amgen
Responsible for leading all aspects of the recruitment, training and management of program teams
Performs other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrMasters degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrBachelors Degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrAssociates Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree
Pharmaceutical Experience
Broad knowledge and training in the fields of healthcare, specialty pharmacy and reimbursement
7 years of related experience
5 years in a progressive management role and experience in leading teams
In depth knowledge of reimbursement, patient assistance programs, database elements and functionality; operational policies and processes
Dynamic leader who can energize multidisciplinary work teams to learn and apply new skills and /or techniques to respond to the business needs
Knowledge of full-service call center programs

Outstanding project management skills with experience in organizing, planning, and implementing projects from vision through implementation
Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated track record in new concept development for various projects
Ability to lead multiple tasks along a parallel process

Critical thinking skills, creative and innovative solutions to internal or external client needs
Strong industry and business knowledge
Strategic problem solver with long term planning experience
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and ability to develop and grow talent

Ability to proficiently use computer and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
