If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference as we develop scalable and strategic solutions to support our global growth, we want to hear from you!The Opportunity:As our Quality Engineering (QE) Manager you will manage a team that supports Quality Assurance for us and help transform this group in to enablement function focused on Quality Engineering, Test Automation and Test Data Management. You will align team actions with business and information technology goals to achieve meaningful results, and develop employee career growth through coaching and stretch assignments. You will report to the Vice President of Application Engineering.The Application Engineering team provides the backbone systems that allow many information technology groups to perform their jobs, gain insight into their own processes, and solve the problems they encounter while achieving their goals. Balancing the short-term needs of development teams and projects with the long-term needs of the enterprise is essential to being a successful Quality Engineering (QE) Manager.The Day-to-Day:Manage the QE Team and manage the testing tools and platforms, from strategy to implementation that will be used by the IT departmentDevelop Test automation and Test Data Strategy and Roadmaps for capabilities in partnership with other technology groups (EA, I&O, Product teams)Transform existing manual QA group to a QE function with automation-first mindsetBe a technical consultant to the QE team and rest of the organization on Automation processes and technologiesDesign, configure and setup multiple Test automation tools on-prem and on-cloud to improve efficiency and improve operational stabilityDevelop tooling and processes to increase automation and adherence to security and audit controlsDevelop enterprise standard test automation, Test Data management frameworks and processesFoster the use of tools and capabilities across Technology groupsYour Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline10+ years of experience in the information technology field5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Manager/ArchitectExperience with test automation and test data management tools like Test Complete Pro, Ready API, Service vPro, NeoLoad, GenRocket, Delphix etc.3 years Agile/Scrum experienceExperience architecting and creating test automation frameworksExperience implementing BDD/TDD and toolsetsHands-on experience implementing Test automation with variety of application architectures (on-prem, cloud, COTS, SaaS Applications etc.)Experience with the full SDLC and delivery using Agile practicesU.S. candidates must be fully vaccinated as defined by the medical community against COVID-19 and provide proof of such vaccination by date of hire Why Fisher Investments:At Fisher Investments, we work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe.
