Scotlynn is seeking to fill one full-time position for a Recruiter located at our corporate office in Tampa, FL. The Recruiter position is ideal for an individual pursuing a Talent Acquisition role in Human Resources for a fast-paced business environment. We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and passionate individual to join our Recruiting team. This person will play an integral role in building and sustaining our fast-growing and dynamic organization!

The Recruiter is responsible for supporting company with full-cycle recruitment. This includes fielding applicants, screening, interviewing, and placing workers. The Recruiter reports directly to the Human Resources Manager and provides support, assistance and follow-up on recruitment functions, assignments or projects.

Primary Responsibilities

The Recruiter is responsible for the following included but not limited to:

  1. Full-cycle recruitment procedures - Job posting, fielding applicants, scheduling interviews, conducting phone screens, following-up with candidates and hiring team.
  2. Completing reference checks on incoming new-hires during the onboarding process
  3. Assisting Department or Hiring Managers with filling job requisitions
  4. Performing searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, and employee referral programs
  5. Working with the HR Manager to help build and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities, online job posting databases, and other recruitment resources
  6. Aiding with onboarding and new-hire orientations
  7. Tracking recruiting metrics, such as candidate pipelines, time-to-hire, etc.
  8. Analyzing talent acquisition data and preparing required or requested reports by or with manager's approval.


Additional Responsibilities

  1. Attending career fairs and recruiting/hiring events
  2. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment or hiring laws and guidelines
  3. Performing follow-up procedures on all Recruitment items


Requirements

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Communications, or other related field.
  2. Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines; focus in hiring disciplines. Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. This is normally acquired through the combination of the completion of a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year + of recruiting experience acquired through internship or job completion
  3. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
