Recruiting Manager - Information Technology


SMCI is seeking a Recruiting Manager to join our team in Central Florida, FL (Tampa Bay or Orlando) for a primarily remote opportunity. This individual will partner with key stakeholders to identify top talent for our rapidly growing IT Staffing Services Team.


This role acts as a both as an IT Recruiting Manager (hire, manage, train, and develop other team members) and still have hands on time as a full-cycle IT recruiter. As a leader and hands recruiter you should fully embrace how to source quickly and creatively, while always keeping candidate experience top of mind.


The Recruiting Manager is responsible for owning stakeholder relationships and strategically partnering with the business to drive hiring and lead adoption of best practices. What You'll Do:

• Execute full cycle recruiting and pipelining plans

• Build recruiting strategies and drive execution to ensure goals are met

• Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs to identify the right talent

• Develop pipeline of candidates in niche areas as determined by market needs and business strategies

• Build, manage and develop internal recruiting teams including internal offshore recruiting teams

• Track goals, metrics, and performance of the hiring cycle; regularly communicate status and results


What You'll Need (required background):

• Minimum 8+ years of technical recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment

• At least of 2+ years of management of other recruiters and hands on with initial training and continuation training programs (this position will assist in further development of these programs)

• Internally motivated as a goal-oriented and a true self-starter

• Deep understanding of Direct Relationship recruiting, and High Volume/MSP recruiting including best practices and use of MSP/VMS tools

• Successful track record of direct sourcing candidates and building candidate pipelines of common skillsets

• Strong knowledge of, and experience with, outside recruiting resources including social recruiting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships

• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment

• Savvy with the latest tech and tools including: LI Recruiter, DICE, Career Builder, etc.
