Service and Maintenance Technician $21-27/hr plus OT & Company Vehicle

Job description

As a leader in the industry, we are seeking military or civilian trained and experienced professionals to work as a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for safely maintaining, installing and servicing all types of liquid and gaseous cryogenic supply systems. Technician would cover primarily Central, Southwest and Southeast Florida areas.

Technicians typically work 8 hours per day and are on call 24 hours unless scheduled off. The new hire will be receiving formal as well as on the job training from senior technicians..

Candidate must be an organized self-starter with the ability to proactively plan their daily work schedule. Also be a team player that is able to effectively communicate with counterparts, customers, vendors, and sales team. The candidate is expected to be competent in the following core skills:

Pipefitting
Brazing or welding
Read prints and schematics
Cryogenics and/or refrigeration experience
Understand materials of construction and general system layout
Understanding of various system components (regulators, valves, solenoids, pressure relief devices, etc.).

New hire will be trained at our National Training Center with class sessions usually lasting a week in duration.

We require our employees to be team players and safety is part of our everyday culture.

Requires computer proficiency including, but not limited to: Lotus Notes, Microsoft Excel, smartphones, tablets, and handheld data entry devices. Job requires a valid Driver's License and candidate must be able to safely operate a company service vehicle in all types of weather.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Installation, maintenance, repair of mechanical and electrical systems experience preferred.
Refrigeration/HVAC or mechanical experience preferred.
