GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Director creates, implements and oversees the associate experience in collaboration with the Chief Experience Officer. This encompasses training and engagement of associates, human resources compliance-related functions, and organizational development initiatives. Partnering with SVP of Operations and subject matter experts the Human Resource Director will create a learning and working environment where associates can fulfill the company's mission and vision.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Annual review and updates of training and development schedule, content, and initiatives.
* Develop and lead cultural initiatives that foster a "great place to work."
* Lead recruiting and talent management efforts company-wide.
* Provide expertise in the areas of succession planning: compensation, talent, and organizational management.
* Ensure all procedures comply with legal regulations.
* Guide and evaluate the work of human resources support associates to ensure legal and organizational compliance.
* Continually analyze the effectiveness of people, operations, and policies.
* Participate in outside organizations relevant to human resources and organizational development.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Demonstrated record of success in a human resources leadership capacity for a senior living organization
* Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Passion for working with seniors
* Knowledge of customer human resources principles and practices
* Knowledge and understanding of the mission and purpose of Watercrest Senior Living Group
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's Degree in human resources or another relevant course of study
* Licensure required by the state
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong leadership skills with a minimum of three but preferably five years of experience in a relevant position.
* A minimum of five (5) years experience in a Human Resources Leadership Role
* Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, labor relations etc.)
