Come join the Paddles By The Sea and Vero Tackle & Watersports team. You will gain experience in the travel, water sports, and fishing industries, event planning, customer service communication, and social media marketing.
Job Purpose:
The primary goal of the communications team is to guide guests on their travels. Get to know our guests so we can give them the best experiences in Vero Beach. Answering phone calls and emails quickly and professionally. Offering suggested activates guests may not have known about, supporting shop attendants in answering questions, scheduling guests with guides that best suit that group. This job required you to be a little bit receptionist, a little bit travel agent, little bit social media marketer.
Job Responsibilities:
· Answering phone calls professionally and courteously
· Answering emails professional and in a timely manner
· Assist guests in booking activities
· Giving guests thoughtful recommendations based on their needs and requests
· Social media planning and content creation
· Responding to guest reviews on various platforms
· Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
· Monitor reservation software for accuracy
Job Skills:
· Highly organized with strong communication skills and a teamwork style to accomplish goals
· Organization Skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task required
· Ability to build a positive relationship with customers, crew members, and ownership
· Ability to evaluate various options and quickly make recommendations
· Must be self-motivated and able to meet multiple deadlines
· Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Job Qualifications:
· Experience in the travel, tourism and hospitality space strongly desired.
· Experience in customer service required
· Experience as a reservationist strongly desired
· Experience as a receptionist strongly desired
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
