We're looking for a Financial Analyst with effective communication skills. We want to hear from you, if you enjoy working as part of a team. Skilled Financial Analyst candidates will be interested in this opportunity through Robert Half to join a thriving company. The Financial Analyst will manage financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Additional daily functions will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. If you enjoy collaborating with peers in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management, Robert Half has an exciting business partner role available. Located in the West Palm Beach, Florida, this Financial Analyst role is a permanent employment opportunity.

What you get to do every single day

- Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processes

- Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary

- Assemble and review forecasting reports

- Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

- Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

- Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI)

- Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed

- Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting

- Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations

- Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

- Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources

Requirements

- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

- Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

- 1+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

- Microsoft Excel experience desired

- Knowledge of Ad Hoc Analysis

- Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

- Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience preferred

- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively

- Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience prioritized)
