Job description

The NobleÒ® Citrus Groves, The Roe Tangerine Groves, is seeking a CEO to lead their citrus groves and packing operation into new development and growing success. The Roe family citrus groves have enjoyed almost 100 years of growing and selling outstanding citrus. Thirty years ago, the third generation of Roe family began to differentiate the varieties by cultivating a rich research and development department. Today, the fourth generation is putting into place sustainable, aggressive horticulture solutions.

The Chief Executive Officer for the NobleÒ® Citrus Groves is directly accountable to the family Board of Directors, and has the responsibility to plan, develop, and administer our business goals and objectives. Our CEO will lead the development and implementation of our business goals, objectives, and development strategies. This will be accomplished by:

1. Formulating and implementing a strategic plan to guide the company into continued growth and development as a leading citrus grower in the SE region.

2. Overseeing the complete operation of the organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans.

3. Evaluating the success of the organization in reaching its goals.

4. Demonstrating the ability to work with all family members and shareholders collaboratively.

5. Assessing the risks of potential strategic business decisions and lead the family and the leadership team through transparent and cohesive decision making processes.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate their effectiveness in the following:

1. Proven success in a CEO/COO role or Senior level business executive position.

2. Leading by example - willingness to work side-by-side with others at any level.

3. People management - ability to connect with and lead people.

4. Understanding of a production-oriented business. (Agriculture experience preferred, but not required)

5. Sales and Marketing strategies. (wholesale, retail, etc.)

6. Business Management knowledge.

7. Dynamics of a closely held family business.

8. Understanding of team building and team strategy.

9. Knowledge of how to support transition of legacy family owners/leaders.

10. Ability to recruit and lead top talent.

Salary Range: $200,000
